Welcome to Snowmobiling in Utah!

On behalf of the Utah State Parks and Recreation, we welcome you to Today’s Snowmobile Rider in Utah—A Course on Responsible Operation.

This course is required for persons who are 8 years of age or older and who plan to operate a snowmobile in Utah. Successful completion of this course will entitle you to a safety certificate that you are required by law to carry with you when operating on Utah’s trails.

This course will provide you with the basic knowledge to operate safely in Utah. It will be your responsibility to practice this knowledge. Safe and responsible snowmobile riders will ensure the continued success of the sport of snowmobiling.

The future of snowmobile riding in Utah depends on you—ride responsibly.
