Firearms on Snowmobiles

A person shall not operate or ride a snowmobile with a firearm in the person’s possession unless it is unloaded and enclosed in a carrying case. However, paraplegics and single or double amputees of the legs may hunt from a motor driven land conveyance such as a snowmobile. “Paraplegic” means an individual affected with paralysis of the lower half of the body with the involvement of both legs, usually due to disease of or injury to the spinal cord.
